Beautiful Flowers

Recently, several people forwarded to me a group of beautiful, but unidentified, flower pictures.
I don't know all of them, but I do know a number.  If you are interested, here they are:

American Rose

Dahlia

Fritillaria / Crown Imperial
Originally came from Turkey and Iran; blooms late in spring

Bearded Iris.  I had many like these in my yard.

Allium.  Related to the onion.  Comes also in white or pale blue.

Corkscrew Flower Vine.  We saw these in Chicago last October.

Nightshade / Solanaceae.  The potato and nicotine plants are related.

Lupine, one of my favorites.  They grow wild, like these, all over Ireland, along the roads.

Lilies of the Valley, with raindrops.

Osteospermum.  We saw lots of these in Chicago last fall also.

Passion Flower.  Lots of these in Fort Lauderdale.  In red also.

Pink hyacinths, white tulips, white narcissus.  Beds like this always at Longwood and Ginter Gardens.

Pink Camellia, I think.

Primrose.  Pretty spring flower, comes in many vibrant colors.

Another variety of primrose.

An orchid.  Orchids come in thousands of sizes, shapes, and colors.

More orchids.

An Orchid
There is an especially large collection of orchids at Longwood Gardens.

More orchids.
